In class today, my teacher is having me read verses from Proverbs. I read them in Spanish and then read it in English. She has me explain the verses in "Spanish" after i read them in both languages. She chose this verse - Prov 15:22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
So, after reading the verse in both languages... I went on to explain that it is dangerous to make descisions without bugs bunny!! HAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!There is only one letter difference in Counsel and Bugs Bunny!! hahaha

Dear friends,
How grateful I am to God for my safe arrival here in Antigua, Guatemala. Studying the Spanish language at Christian Spanish Academy has truly been a delightful experience. Upon my arrival, I immediately met my host family, a wonderful widowed lady and her children. Their constant encouragement has been a source of blessing during my time in Guatemala.
Only in my third week of studies, the Spanish language has become a major part of my daily life. The staff has been encouraged to no longer communicate with me in English! Christian Spanish Academy is a five star school with excellent staff and facilities. I have been provided a private tutor who consistently challenges me to new levels of study. Currently, there are many students at the school, and each one is learning the language at a pace of their choice. I am thankful for the professionalism of the school and its staff.
Walking remains the only source of transportation offered by the school administration. Gratefully, the city of Antigua is exceptionally safe and the house in which I stay is only a five minute walk from the school. Visiting the people and places of Guatemala has been an exciting adventure. I have met many sweet children and even visited Ronald McDonald!
Please continue to pray for me as I continue language studies. At times, studying is extensive and there are many pressures and deadlines to fulfill. Knowing God has called me to this task, I watch with eagerness his faithfulness during my time in Guatemala. Your continued prayers and sacrificial giving remain sources of great eternal reward. May God bless each of you.
In His Service,
Elise
